Reflections Winter Terrace

We visited Reflections on Christmas day. Wonderful atmosphere and excellent service. The decorations were really beautiful. I requested a high table near the Christmas tree and they very graciously managed to seat us there. We had warm True North cocktail in the Santa cup and Lobster Benedict. The food was simply delicious. My server Sophie was very nice and accommodating. She also took several pictures when I requested. The manager David really made my day by offering a complimentary dessert. Overall I had a great experience!

Pretty place and great ambiance for the holiday, with beautiful Christmas decorations. The moment you walk in you can feel the festive spirit. They are very short on staff there were only 2 staffs (including bartender)when we were there, both ar quite professional and very good service. However it is very hard to get their attention or wanna order something, we waited a while for our bill. The mulled wine was out of stock so I was quite disappointed. The host was cold not welcoming.

Surprisingly nice rooftop restaurant. Food was really great, drinks were delicious and varied, and ambiance with the running water, waterfall, and cozy lighting was fantastic. Was quite busy both times were went and we were admitted on a “you have to leave within 90 minutes” caveat (which was surprising given the amount of food and drinks our group of 7 were purchasing, but wasn’t a bad thing as they clearly communicated this to us upon admittance) but overall I was really impressed with the place. Staff was polite, straightforward, and brought rounds and food quickly and checked on us regularly. Would recommend going here if you’re staying at the hotel, but also if you’re in the area and it’s a beautiful night. They also have heaters so I imagine it would be nice in the colder months as well. Might be a little dicey if it’s raining though - didn’t seem like a good spot for less than “decent” weather for some areas (some spots were better protected from rain).

Beautiful restaurant to visit especially during their holiday season. The overall atmosphere and vibes were perfect. Such a comfortable and welcoming place to eat. The presentation of the drinks were also amazing. I ordered the Festive G&T and I loved it. For food we ordered the tuna tartare, antipasto, risotto and gnocchi. Everything was decent!

Of course the one table we get was facing DIRECT sunlight beaming into our eyes. Absolutely brutal. No high table should be placed there. We ordered a medium-rare steak and it came out dry and well done: it was inedible so we unfortunately had to send it back. Next bad experience was I ordered a lobster taco and I choked on a bone! So again, we had to complain; as I’ve never had been served a bone in my lobster!!!… we weren’t offered any sort of solution to better our experience. Our server was inexperienced and yes felt awkward in the moment which I understand; however he didn’t handle the situation well giving us any reassurance for the issue. In the end I had to request dessert on the house due to the inconvenience, and guess what, the Toffee Pudding was DRY! With barely any caramel sauce..I really want to come back to experience more of their drink selection and the menu however this was an awful first impression. On a positive note, the real flowers are beautiful.

My girlfriend booked a reservation two months in advance to celebrate her birthday, mostly to enjoy the ambience but were seated at a table that wasn’t even close to what they were promoting on instagram. To be honest, it felt like that table shouldn’t have even been there. My girlfriend asked the manager to move tables and he said there was nothing they could do… even when a server suggested to move us to an available table that was clearly open on their iPad. David said no we can’t do that. Either way my girlfriend was very disappointed. David is a horrible manager and they should get a new one. Even the servers were nicer and more professional. David really let this place down. The servers were great but David seriously should be replaced and if they do I’m sure this place would do a lot better.
